Obituary for Martha Ellen Mayo (Sims)
Martha Ellen (Sims) Mayo, 66, of Weston passed away on Sunday, October 31st, 2021 at Crestview Manor Nursing and Rehabilitation in Jane Lew. She was born in Weston, on February 13th, 1955, daughter of the late James Ralph Sims and Mildred Helen (Hyre) Sims. Martha was united in marriage to William “Bill” Mayo, who preceded her in death. She was also preceded in death by three brothers: Jimmy Sims, Tommy Sims and Randy Sims.
Forever cherishing Martha’s life are two sisters: Marsha Kandel and Melinda Sue Sims both of Weston and several nieces and nephews.
Martha was a graduate of Lewis County High School. She worked as a cook at the Patio Plaza in Jane Lew and as a cashier at the Garden Fresh supermarket of Weston. Martha enjoyed playing bingo and to crotchet.
