Obituary for Linda Sue Clem

Linda Sue Clem, 74, of Weston, gained her angel wings on Monday, February 15th, 2021 at Stonewall Jackson Memorial Hospital following an extended illness. She was born in Weston on January 23rd, 1947 to the late Samuel Oldaker and Wilda (Means) Oldaker.

Sue will forever be remembered by her children. Her daughter: Teresa Taylor and husband Steve of Weston. Her 4 sons: Brian Clem and wife Shannon of Buckhannon, Steve Clem of Weston, Rick Clem of Weston and Tracey Clem of Weston, 5 grandchildren: Savanna Clem, George Clem, Jason Clem, Trenton Clem and Jonathan Jeffries, 3 great-grandchildren: Mason Clem, Jayce Clem and Elody Clem, 2 sisters: Sandra Oldaker and Kim Oldaker both of Weston, 2 brothers: James Oldaker and wife Mary of Weston and Terry Oldaker of Charleston along with several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, Sue was preceded in death by one brother Samuel “Butch” Oldaker.

Sue was a graduate of Weston High School. She retired from Stonewall Jackson Memorial Hospital as a Nurse Aide with 35 years of service and was known as “2nd Floor Sue”. Sue was a loving single mother of 5 children while working a full time job, and became an inspiration for the next generation. She loved her dogs and enjoyed doing crafts when able. Sue battled many health issues and was a fighter in the eyes of her family. She always had a big heart and would help family and friends whenever needed. She treasured time spent with her family and friends. Sue will be missed by all who knew and loved her.

Sue’s wish for cremation has been honored by Hardman Family Funeral Home of Weston, WV. A Memorial Service will be held on Sunday, February 21st, 2021 at Hardman Family Funeral Home 730 N. Main Avenue Weston, WV with fellowship time from 1:00PM-2:00PM with a private family Memorial Service starting at 2:00PM with Reverend Russell Furr officiating.
