Obituary for Kevin Scott Cool

Kevin Scott Cool, 50, of Weston passed away peacefully at his residence with his long time soulmate Lisa Cool by his side. Kevin was born on June 27th, 1970 in Weston, WV to the late James A Cool and Charlotte Ann (Davis) Cool.

Kevin is survived by 2 daughters: Alexis C. and MaKenzie S. Cool of Weston, WV and 1 son: Kevin Z. Cool of Weston, WV, 7 brothers: Larry (Shelia) Cool of Weston, WV, Gary (Cathy) Cool of Alum Bridge, WV, Joe Cool of North Dakota, Jeff Cool of North Dakota, Jay (Wendy) Cool of Arizona, John (Bobbi) Cool of Pennsylvania and Jimmy (Fran) Cool of Virginia, 2 sisters: Jeannie (Joe) Simoni of Florida and Jane (Rick) Warren of Florida, several nieces and nephews and friends.

In addition to his parents, Kevin was preceded in death by 1 brother: Steve Cool of Weston, WV, 1 sister-in-law: Mary Cool of North Dakota and 1 nephew: Michael Cool.

Kevin was a graduate of Lewis County High School the class of 1988. He was a Health Service Worker, Unit Charge and went on to retire as a store keeper at Sharpe Hospital in Weston with 28 years of service. Kevin enjoyed fishing, riding four wheelers, listening to music and loved all kinds of cars. Kevin was an advocate for Autism Awareness, due to his son, whom he was always there for. Kevin was very devoted to his children. He will be missed by his family and friends.

At the family’s request, Kevin will be cremated and a Memorial Service will be held at Hardman Family Funeral Home 730 N. Main Avenue Weston, WV on Monday, January 18th, 2021 with fellowship time from 12:00PM-1:00PM and a private family Memorial Service starting at 1:00PM with Reverend Russell Furr officiating. In lieu of flowers, the family request donations to be made to Hardman Family Funeral Home P.O. Box 1287 Weston, WV 26452 for Kevin’s service expenses.
