Obituary for Kevin Linn Helmick
Kevin Linn Helmick, 51, of Fairmont, WV passed away on Wednesday, September 25, 2019 following an accident. He was born in Weston on November 28, 1967: son of the late Leslie Dale Helmick and Edna Frances (Scarff) Helmick and grandmother: Ruby Harris. On September 22, 2017, he married Heather (Foy) Helmick.
Mr. Helmick is also survived by two loving sons: Daniel Ryan Helmick of Buckhannon and Joshua Ray Boyd of Wheeling and two grandchildren: Macie June Helmick and Audie Gene Helmick. He is also survived by two brothers: Steve Helmick of Horner and Dave Helmick of Pruntytown, one sister: Deb Grose of Weston and several nieces and nephews.
Kevin was a Cement truck driver with Hoy’s Concrete of Morgantown. He was a graduate of Lewis County High School, was a diesel tech from Ohio Diesel Tech of Cleveland, OH and was a Baptist by faith. His hobbies included hunting, fishing and his favorite was dirt car racing with his son.
Family and friends will be received at the Hardman-Paletti Funeral Home 730 N. Main Avenue Weston on Sunday, September 29, 2019 from 5-7 p.m. Funeral services will be held on Monday at 10:00 a.m. from the Hardman-Paletti Funeral Home chapel with Reverend Russell Furr officiating.
