Obituary for Kenneth Karl Kincaid

Kenneth Karl Kincaid, 51, of Crawford went home to his Lord on the evening of July 9, 2019. He was born in Lewis County on January 12, 1968: son of late Hale Kincaid and Juanita (Cogar) Kincaid Hamilton. On September 22, 1990, he married the love of his life, Joyce (Bragg) Kincaid and they shared 28 years of marriage together.
Sharing in the grief of his wife are his loving children: Stephanie Kincaid Jordan and husband Michael Todd of Crawford and Cody Kincaid and companion Makayla Stennett of Lafayette, Indiana and two precious grandchildren: Hailee Zroske and Easton Jordan of Crawford, his mother: Juanita Hamilton of Crawford, brothers: Hail Brooks Kincaid and companion Sara Lee Rae of Ira, Iowa, Gregory Kincaid and wife Jackie of Ankemy, Iowa, sisters: Debbie Schevront of West Union and Angel Wimer of Ireland and several nieces and nephews. In addition to his father, Kenneth was preceded in death by his grandparents: Mansel Kincaid and Pearl (Tenney) Kincaid and Aca and Florence (Dean) Cogar.
Kenny enjoyed life and he loved hunting, fishing and playing games, especially dominoes. Kenny loved making things and he was a kid magnet. Mr. Kincaid was a well tender in the Oil Field. He was a graduate of Lewis County High School with the class of 1986. Kenneth was a member of the Crawford United Methodist Church, William G. Bennett Masonic Lodge #46 A.F & A.M.of Walkersville and was a volunteer Firefighter with the Walkersville Volunteer Fire Department.
Kenny was loved not only by his family but by his friends far and wide. He was a very special man who was very giving and helped many people over the years. He never knew a stranger.
Per his request, Kenneth’s family will received friends at the Hardman-Paletti Funeral Home 730 N. Main Avenue Weston on Saturday, July 13, 2019 from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. Funeral services will be held on Saturday at 1:00 p.m. from the Hardman-Paletti Funeral Home chapel with Reverend Dwayne Brown officiating. Interment will follow services in the Post Chapel Cemetery of Crawford, WV. Graveside rites will be conducted by William G. Bennett Lodge #46 A.F. & A.M. of Walkersville and Lewis County firefighters will provide their own tribute to Kenny.
