Obituary for Judy Carol Lewis
Judy Carol Lewis, 77, of Weston, WV passed away on Monday, January 11th, 2021 at United Hospital Center following an extended illness. She was born on July 26th, 1943 in Punxsutawney, PA to the late Earl James Manners and Cecil Viola (Peace) Manners. Judy was united in marriage on August 4th, 1962 to Ronald L. Lewis, who survives.
Judy is also survived by 3 daughters: Robin Wallace (Maury) of Jacksonville, NC, Marsha Moody (Jeff) of Stanley, NC and Melinda Abernathy (Josh) of Fayetteville, NC, 4 sons: Thomas Lewis of Morgantown, WV, Greg Lewis (Cindy) of Verona, KY, James Lewis (Amy) of Leon, WV and Martin Lewis of Weston, WV, 19 grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren and 1 sister: Melda Ishman of Wrightsville, PA. In addition to her parents, Judy was preceded in death by 1 sister Donna Mellon.
Judy cherished her time with her family. She enjoyed every minute spent with her children and grandchildren. She was very adventurous and loved to camp and fish. During her down time, Judy enjoyed painting, sewing, crocheting and working on craft projects. Judy will be dearly missed by her family.
A private family viewing will be held at Hardman Family Funeral Home 730 N. Main Avenue Weston, WV on Saturday, January 16th, 2021 from 11:00AM-12:00PM. A private family funeral service will be held at 12:00PM in the funeral home chapel with Reverend Dwayne Brown officiating.
