Obituary for John Carl Davisson
John Carl Davisson, 56, of Alum Bridge passed away on Thursday, August 25th, 2022 in Ruby Memorial Hospital of Morgantown, WV. He was born in Weston on March 8th, 1966: son of Ancil Roy Davisson of Alum Bridge, WV and the late Mary Katherine (Sleeth) Davisson.
In addition to his father, John is survived by his wife Dennette (Sands) Davisson, two sons: Michael Isaac Davisson of Alum Bridge and John David Davisson of Beckley, one daughter: Carrie Lynn Davisson of Normantown and two grandchildren: Jonathan and Connor Davisson. Also surviving is one brother: James Bradley Davisson and wife Bobbie of Weston, one sister: Mary Ann Garrett and husband Rodney of Alum Bridge and several nieces and nephews.
Mr. Davisson was a self-employed safety supervisor with J D Consulting. He was a member and co-founder of Doyle Chapel Community Church of Alum Bridge, WV. John enjoyed hunting, fishing and going to stock car and dirt track races and watching NASCAR. John also loved tinkering and fixing things.
Family and friends will gather at the Doyle Chapel Community Church at Alum Bridge for a Celebration of Life Service on Sunday, September 4th, 2022 at 2:00 p.m with Pastor Nigel Bean officiating. A private inurnment at Rock Grove Cemetery of Linn, WV will occur at a later date.
