Obituary for James Edward "Bucky" Williams

James Edward “Bucky” Williams, 75, of Montgomery Road Weston passed away on Friday, September 20, 2019 in the Louisa A. Johnson VA Medical Center of Clarksburg following an extended illness. He was born in Weston on February 15, 1944: son of the late Harold Edward Williams and Frances Gertrude (Kerrigan) Williams.

Mr. Williams is survived by two sisters: Martha Jane Williams of Fairmont and Mary Lou Williams of Parkersburg.

Mr. Williams worked in maintenance with the West Virginia Department of Highways. He was veteran of the United States Army , was a past commander of the American Legion Post# 4 of Weston and a member of the VFW Post# 1976. He was also a driver and volunteer for the Lewis County Senior Center. His hobbies included model trains and photography and also enjoyed all types of real trains.

Family and friends will be received at the Hardman-Paletti Funeral Home 730 N. Main Avenue Weston on Thursday, September 26, 2019 from 11:30 a.m. until 12:30 p.m. Funeral services will be held on Thursday at 12:30 p.m. from the Hardman-Paletti Funeral Home with Father Cody Ford as celebrant. Interment will follow services in the WV National Cemetery at Pruntytown, WV. Full military honors will be rendered by the United States Army and the Lewis County Honor Guard.
