Obituary for James Anthony Rohrbough Jr.
James (Jim) Anthony Rohrbough, Jr, 66 of Weston passed away on Saturday September 11th 2021 at his home surrounded by his loving family. He was born in Weston on May 17th 1955, the son of James A Rohrbough Sr. and Shelby Knight Rohrbough of Weston. On June 3rd 1972 he married the love of his life Penny (Foster) Rohrbough who survives.
Jim is also survived by 2 sons, James A Rohrbough III and wife Kelley of Weston and Todd Rohrbough and wife Melissa of Jane Lew, 5 grandchildren Colin, Kirstyn, Caden, Garrett, and Zoe and 1 great-grandson Cameron. He is also survived by 2 brothers Bruce and Brian Rohrbough both of Weston, 1 sister Alisa Sisley of Weston, and 5 sister in-laws Sue Mowery of Weston, Sondra Granlund and Carol Snyder both of Jane Lew, Vickie Jordan and Christine Gum both of Weston, 1 brother in-law Gary Foster of Weston, and several nieces and nephews.
Mr Rorhbough retired from the WV Department of Highways as a mail clerk. He was a graduate of Lewis County High School with the class of 1973. He was a veteran of the United States Army serving as a military policeman with the rank of E4. He was a Methodist by faith. Jim enjoyed tinkering in the garage on cars and lawnmowers. His greatest joy was playing with his grandchildren and great-grandson.
A private visitation will be held at the Hardman Family Funeral Home of Weston on Monday September 13th from 4-6pm. Following visitation Jim’s request for cremation will be carried out through Hardman Family Funeral Home.
