Obituary for Iona Cavell Stout
Iona Cavell Stout, 85, of Camden passed away on Tuesday, March 2nd, 2021 at Stonewall Jackson Memorial Hospital. She was born in Lewis County on November 18th, 1935 to the late Delbert Sayer and Audrey (Cramer) Sayer. Iona was united in marriage on May 23rd, 1973 to Kenneth Stout, who survives.
Iona is also survived by a daughter Theresa Fisher of Elkins, a son Noah Matthew Kelley and wife Karen of Weston, 5 grandchildren, 1 great-grandchild, a sister Marlene Harrison of Virginia and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, Iona was preceded in death by two sisters: Dellamae Straley and Jo-Etta Melton and one grandson Timothy Kelley.
Iona and her husband were owners of Stout’s Bait Shop in Bendale, WV. She was a member at Haleville Union Mission Church. Iona enjoyed taking in the wild and wonderful West Virginia outdoors. She loved to garden, fish and hunt. Iona will be dearly missed by her husband and family.
