Granvile Dale Hosey, 76, of Weston passed away in the comfort of his home surrounded by his loving family on Wednesday July 13, 2022. He was born in Little Birch, WV on February 13, 1946, son of the late Delbert and Hattie (Dillon) Hosey. Granvile was united in marriage to his wife Kay (DeLong) Hosey, who survives.

Cherishing the life of Granvile are 3 sons: Matthew Todd Hosey and wife Valerie of Fairmont, Randy Scott Kelly and wife Kayla of Weston, and Robert Wayne Kelly and wife Crystal of Weston, 12 granchildren: Brandon Kelly and wife Makyla, Matthew Lane, Jamie Byrd, Cassi Dix, Bella Kelly, Hunter Kelly, Alan Hosey, Bradly Curtis, Nerissa McCue, Rhea Minor, Chelsey Minor, and Micah Perine, 8 great grandchildren: Casen, Callie, Derrick, Caden, Abby, Noah, Neana, and Willow, 8 sisters: Anna Call of Glenville, WV, Judy Cooper of Indianapolis, IN, Linda Marian, Cheryl Sutherland, Deborah Cheatum, Susan Sansom, Marsha Hosey, and Sandra Fleming all of Ohio, and 15 nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, Granvile was preceded in death by 2 grandchildren: Bryson and Ciara Kelly, 2 sisters: Jenny Gelts and Arita Polson, and 2 brothers: Victor Utt and Hershel Utt.

Granvile retired from the Weston State Hospital as a Health Service Worker. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and spending time with his family.
