Obituary for Frank William Corathers

Frank William Corathers, 71, of Weston, passed away on Sunday, December 11, 2022 in Weston. He was born in Clarksburg, WV on September 8, 1951, son of the late Frank Warren Corathers of Weston and Mary Frances (Brown) Yeager of Zelianople, PA, who survives.

Forever cherishing the life of Frank are a son, Robert Michael Corathers of Weston, a daughter, Alexandria Grey of Morgantown, former spouse and continuous best friend of 40+ years, Phyllis Lawson Corathers of Weston, two brothers, Thomas Corathers and wife Kathy of Cummings, GA and David Corathers and wife Shari of Cranberry Township, PA, several nieces and nephews, and two special caregivers and friends, Kerrie Taylor and Terri Walker.

Frank retired from Sieman’s Company, formerly IBM, of Pennsylvania as a telecommunications journeyman. He was Methodist by faith. Frank was an avid mountain bike rider, enjoying the outdoors. He loved music and playing his guitar and keyboard. Frank had a passion for miniature trains and had spent many hours building a miniature train city in his home.

Frank’s wish for cremation has been honored by Hardman Family Funeral Home of Weston. Family and friends will gather for fellowship time at Hardman Family Funeral Home, 730 N. Main Avenue of Weston, on Saturday, December 17, 2022 from 2:00-4:00 p.m. A Celebration of Life service will begin at 4:00 p.m. from the funeral home chapel with Sue Smith officiating.
