Obituary for Emma Lily Mae Lowther (Marks)

Emma Lily Mae (Marks) Lowther, 56, of Pricetown, passed away on Monday, December 5, 2022 at Ruby Memorial Hospital. She was born in Ohio, on April 10, 1966, daughter of the late Samuel and Peggy (Hurley) Marks. Emma was united in marriage in November of 2015 to her loving husband and love of her life, Rodney Lowther, who survives.

Forever cherishing the life of Emma are her husband, Rodney, 8 children: Glenn Bunnell, James Blake and wife Danielle, Henry Bunnell and wife Courtney, Emily Taylor, Sophia Lowther, Gabriella Lowther, Brandon Lowther and girlfriend Carly Barlow, and Brianna Woodson and husband Zach, 5 grandchildren: Ruby and Crystal Turner, Azariah Bunnell, Madyson and Mason Woodson, 4 sisters: Betty Marks, Tracy Jewett and husband Mike, Jessica Petrinski and husband Bob, and Lelliet Marks and companion Tom, and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, Emma was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Mia Taylor and a sister Pansy Marks.

Emma was a homemaker. She loved to can food and tend to her many garden flower beds. She enjoyed camping, fishing, even having a tattoo of a catfish, and swimming. Emma loved to find great deals anywhere she went, especially while yard saling and going to Our Neighbor. Most of all, Emma loved spending time with her family and will be missed.

A Celebration of Life service will be held at Hardman Family Funeral Home, 730 N. Main Avenue of Weston, on Friday, December 9, 2022 at 2:00 p.m. with Pastor Mary Newbanks officiating. Family and friends will gather from 12:00-2:00 p.m. to share stories and remembrances of Emma. Online condolences and life stories in memory of Emma may be expressed at hardmanfamilyfuneralhome.com.
