Elizabeth Kay Frey, 64, of Buckhannon, passed away on Monday, March 15th, 2021 at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Buckhannon. She was born on November 4th, 1956 to the late Ernest Evix and Hazel (Sandridge) Evix, who survives of Beverly, WV. Elizabeth was united in marriage on August 21st, 1975 to Kimberly Frey, who survives.

Forever cherishing Elizabeth’s life are one son Jason A. Frey and wife Alicia of Weston, WV, 4 grandchildren: Bryce Dale Huffman, Rozalynne Frey, Lundyn Frey and Austyn Frey, 4 brothers: Leonard Evix and wife Karen of Belington, WV, Gary Evix of Buckhannon, WV, Steve Evix and wife Lisa of Elkins, WV and Eric Evix and wife Lisa of Valley Furnace, WV, 1 sister: Donna Evix of Elkins, WV, a very special honorary sister Shirley Hyson of Beverly, WV and several nieces and nephews.

Elizabeth was a graduate of Philip Barbour High School with the class of 1975. She enjoyed fishing and camping. Elizabeth cherished every memory made while taking care of her grandkids. She was the go to seamstress for the family and will be greatly missed.

Family and friends will be received at Hardman Family Funeral Home 730 N. Main Avenue Weston, WV on Saturday, March 20th, 2021 from 12:00PM-2:00PM. Following viewing a Graveside Service will be held at Forest Lawn Memorial Garden of Jane Lew, WV with Reverend Brian Plum officiating. Interment will follow services.
