Edythe JoAnn McKinley, 87, of Weston, WV departed this life on Tuesday, April 19, 2022 at her residence. She was born in Freemansburg, WV on July 23, 1934, daughter of the late Virgil L. Hull and Cora Ruth (Woofter) Hull. Jo Ann shared a wonderful 58 years of marriage with George William “Bill” McKinley, who preceded her in death on October 5, 2012.
Cherishing the life of JoAnn are 3 sons: Jim and wife Stephanie of Bridgeport, Bob and wife Brenda of Quiet Dell, and Tom McKinley and family of Fairmont, 5 grandchildren: Candice McKinley and Nicholas McKinley of Bridgeport, Mollie McKinley Chiles of Greensboro, NC, Greg Peters of Glenville, Emily McKinley of Fairmont, 5 great grandchildren: Cora, Leah, Maddix and Sahda McKinley of Bridgeport, and Jace McKinley of Fairmont, 1 brother: James Clyde Hull of Weston, and 1 nephew: Jon Hull of Spotsylvania, VA.
JoAnn graduated from Weston High School class of 1953. She retired from the United National Bank of Weston in Customer Service. She was Protestant by faith and attended the Broad Street United Methodist Church. She was a member of the Theresa Snaith Auxillary at SJMH in Weston. She enjoyed working crossword puzzles. JoAnn will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.
Family and friends will gather at Hardman Family Funeral Home 730 N. Main Avenue of Weston on Thursday, April 21, 2022 from 5PM-7PM. The funeral service will be held on Friday, April 22, 2022 at 10AM from the funeral home chapel with Reverend Stephen White officiating.
