Obituary for Dell Frances "Jamie" James
Dell “Jamie” Frances James, 96, of Pittsgrove Township, NJ passed away on March 24, 2022 at her home in New Jersey. She was born in Weston, WV on May 23, 1925 daughter of the late Perry Stanley James and Melvina (Long) James.
Jamie is survived by 1 niece Sandra Keith and 3 nephews Stanley, Melvin, and Ernest James.
“Jamie” as she was known locally, was the owner and operator of James Produce in Pittsgrove Township, NJ and was well known as the traveling produce lady. She loved spending time in nature and working in her garden. Jamie was very active and devoted to Animal Rights and very concerned with our environment.
In lieu of flowers, the family would like donations in Jamie’s memory be made to the South Jersey Regional Animal Shelter, 1244 N. Delsea Drive, Vineland, NJ 08360.
