Obituary for Deborah Jill Stutler

A kind and loving soul has been laid to rest as Deborah Jill Stutler, 60, of Weston, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, September 25, 2022. Jill was born in Weston on October 29, 1961, daughter of the late John Robert and Helen Gay (Butcher) Lamb.

Forever cherishing their memories of Jill are a daughter, Morgan Snyder and fiancé, Ben Moody, of Weston, 3 grandchildren, Colby Snyder, Nikoli Moody and Natalie Moody, 4 sisters; Robin Stout of Weston, Susie Johnston and husband, Lonnie, of Weston, Kay Butcher and husband, Jimmy, of Jane Lew, and Bobbi Radcliff and husband, Brent, of Berlin, 3 brothers; John Lamb and wife, Anna, of Weston, David Lamb and wife, Andi, of Jane Lew, and Todd Lamb and significant other, Ashton Carder, of Weston, and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, Jill was preceded in death by a sister, Dee Jones and nephew, Lucas Lamb.

Jill was a graduate of Lewis County High School class of 1979. She furthered her education and gained her Master’s Degree in Social Work. Jill worked as a social worker for the Appalachian Community Health Center in Elkins for 13 years, and was currently employed at the Louis A. Johnson VA Medical Center, with 14 years of service. She was a member of the Loyal Order of the Moose Lodge #1376 in Weston. She enjoyed dabbling in photography and making crafts. Jill cherished her time spent with family, especially her grandchildren, and her contagious smile will be missed.

Family and friends will gather at Hardman Family Funeral Home 730 N. Main Avenue of Weston, on Wednesday, September 28, 2022 from 1:00-3:00 p.m. The funeral service will begin at 3:00 p.m. from the funeral home chapel with Reverend Russell Furr officiating.
