Deborah Lee Perris, 66, of Canonsburg, PA , formerly of Weston, passed away on Sunday, October 7, 2018 in Family Hospice Center Pittsburgh, PA following an extended illness. She was born in Grundy, VA on September 24, 1952: daughter of the late Ernest Keene and Roma (Baldwin) Keene. On September 7, 1990, she married Ronald Perris, who preceded her in death on 2003.
Mrs. Perris is survived by her only child: Kevin W. Perris and wife Heather of Canonsburg, PA and three grandchildren: Kylee, Kenzie and Kennedy Perris. She is also survived by two brothers: Ralph Bradley of Fall Branch, TN and Charlie Keene of Weston and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents and husband, Ronald, Deborah was preceded in death by one brother: Bob Keene.
Mrs. Perris was a social worker for William A. Sharpe Hospital of Weston for several years and retired from the Louis A. Johnson VA Medical Center of Clarksburg. She graduated from West Virginia University of Morgantown, WV with a Bachelor of Arts Degree and Master’s Degree in Social Work. Her hobbies include collecting bears, shopping, and going out with her friends. She loved to travel and especially enjoyed the beach. She also enjoyed helping her Veterans.
Family and friends will be received at the Hardman-Paletti Funeral Home 730 N. Main Avenue Weston on Friday, October 12, 2018 from 4-7 p.m. Funeral services will be held on Saturday at 10:00 a.m. from the Hardman-Paletti Funeral Home chapel with Reverend Brian Plum officiating.
