Obituary for Chessie Ellen Brown
Chessie Ellen Brown, 83, of Buckhannon passed away on Saturday, June 19th, 2021 in the compassionate care of Holbrook on the Hill Nursing Home and Rehab Center of Buckhannon. She was born in Perkins, WV on October 30, 1937: daughter of the late Cortis Allen and Stella (Robinson) Allen.
Chessie is survived by one son: David Wolfe of Charleston, two grandchildren: Justis Wolfe and Ashley Wolfe and several nieces and nephews. She is also survived by a special friend and caregiver: Betty Bolton of Buckhannon. In addition to her parents, Jessie was preceded in death by her husband, Tom, three brothers: Chester, Marcellus and Spergin Allen and two sisters: Melvina (Allen) Knoll and Clera Ruth (Allen) Cobb.
Chessie was a homemaker. She was a member of the Independent United Brethern Church of Buckhannon, WV.
Family and friends will be received at the Hardman Family Funeral Home 730 N. Main Avenue Weston on Thursday, June 24th, 2021 from 11a.m. -12 noon and funeral services will be held at 12:00 noon from Hardman Family Funeral Home chapel with Pastor Junior Harris officiating.
