Charles Thomas Marsh, Sr., 60, of Weston passed away on Thursday, July 8th, 2021 at his home. He was born in Weston on August 25, 1960: son of the late George F. Marsh and Anna (Puffenbarger) Marsh. Charles was married to Dorothy (Messenger) Marsh, who preceded him in death.

Charlie is survived three children: Michelle Shackleford and companion: Thomas Blake, Michael Marsh and Charles Marsh, Jr. all of Weston and 6 grandchildren: Sophia and Madelyn Marsh, Aubreah Shackleford, Jayson Blake and Christina and Bryan Grogg. He is also survived by two sisters: Agnes Hunt and husband Dan and Mary Harris both of Buckhannon, one ½ brother: Earl Puffenbarger and wife Bonnie, a special nephew: Frankie Conrad, who was his go-to guy and several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents and wife Dorothy, Charlie was preceded in death by two brothers: George E. Marsh and James Richard Marsh and two ½ brothers: Joseph and William Puffenbarge

Charlie loved spending time with family. He loved the outdoors and is always on the move. Charlie loved a cold drink. He will be missed by family and friends.

Charlie’s family’s request for cremation has been honored by Hardman Family Funeral Home of Weston and a Celebration of Life Service will be held on Saturday, July 31, 2021 at 1:00 p.m. from the Hardman Family Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Ronnie Beeson officiating.
