Obituary for Carol Marie Fisher
Carol Marie Fisher, 69, of Weston passed away on Sunday, April 23, 2023 at WVU Medicine United Hospital Center in Bridgeport, WV. She was born in Weston, WV on January 14, 1954, daughter of Loudin Guy Fisher and Sarah Margaret (Smith) Fisher.
Cherishing the life of Carol are a sister, Ruth Hicks of Weston, brother, Louie Jack Fisher of Weston, and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, Carol was preceded in death by 4 sisters; Kay Dotson, Patricia Allman, Nancy Halterman, and Linda Sue Fisher, and 1 brother; William Louis Fisher.
Carol was a graduate of Lewis County High School, class of 1973. Years ago, she worked as a glassworker for Louie Glass of Weston and also spent many years working as a caregiver. She was a Methodist by faith. Carol enjoyed dancing, camping, and loved watching movies. She had a hobby of collecting cardinals. Carol will be missed by her family and friends.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Friday, April 28, 2023 at 2:00 p.m. from the Hardman Family Funeral Home chapel at 730 N. Main Avenue in Weston with Reverend Shawn Weaver officiating. Fellowship time will be held prior to the service from 12:00-2:00 p.m. A private interment will follow services at Peterson Cemetery in Weston, WV at a later date.
