Obituary for Bryan Smith
Bryan Smith, 88, of Horner, WV passed away on Friday, December 25, 2020 at his home. He was born in Horner on January 8, 1932: son of the late Robert Earl Smith and Ocie Mae (Smith) Smith. On November 13, 1970, he married Janet M. (Barton) Smith, who survives.
Mr. Smith is also survived by one daughter: Rebecca June Ables and husband Bobby of Horner and one son Bryan Michael Smith and wife Beth Ann also of Horner. He is also survived by 3 nieces of Ohio, 1 nephew of Ohio, 1 nephew of Pennsylvania and 1 brother-in-law Hayward Barton and wife Cindy of Rock Cave. In addition to his parents, Bryan was also preceded in death by three brothers: Robert, Woodrow and Maynard Smith and 1 nephew of Pennsylvania.
Mr. Smith retired from the maintenance department of Weston State Hospital with 25 years of service. He was an active farmer. He is a Methodist by faith. Bryan loved to gather with family and friends. Bryan will be missed by all who knew him.
A private graveside service will be held on Wednesday December 30th, 2020 in the Lewis County Memorial Gardens of Weston, WV with Reverend Tim Lewis officiating.
