Brinda Kay Blake, 57, of Jane Lew, WV passed away on Friday, January 1st, 2021 at Stonewall Jackson Memorial Hospital following an extended illness. Brinda was born on October 2nd, 1963 in Cleveland, OH to the late Dennis Lee Taylor Sr. and Hazel Marie (Ayers) Taylor.
Brinda is survived by 2 daughters: Marcie and Crystal Taylor of Jane Lew, WV, 1 son: Delbert Taylor also of Jane Lew, WV, 4 grandchildren Briar Taylor, Hunter Taylor, Faith Martinez, Jose Martinez, 4 brothers: Dennis Taylor Jr., Henry Taylor, Dwight Taylor, and John Taylor, 5 sisters: Lora Rafferty, Carol Sawyer, Elizabeth Hinkle, Sandra Rush and Patricia Woodson and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents Brinda was preceded in death by 1 grandchild: Peyton Taylor, and 2 sisters: Roberta Conrad and Kimberly Taylor.
Brinda was a homemaker. She enjoyed spending time with her family. She loved to play video games with her grandchildren and have long night talks with her children. She enjoyed getting her family together whenever possible. Her family will miss her dearly.
Family and friends will gather at Hardman Family Funeral Home 730 North Main Avenue Weston, WV on Tuesday, January 5th, 2021 from 11:00AM-12:00PM. A private family service will be held at 12:00PM from the funeral home chapel with Reverend Russell Furr officiating. Interment will follow services at Mt. Lebanon Cemetery in Kincheloe, WV.
