Obituary for Blonda Joe Hinzman

Blonda Joe Hinzman, 83, of Linn, WV passed away on Friday, November 29, 2019 in Genesis Healthcare in Glenville following an extended illness. He was born in Cox’s Mill, WV on June 27, 1936: son of the late Blonda Lloyd Hinzman and Rella (Reed) Hinzman. On August 31, 1957, he married Naomi Ruth (Scott) Hinzman, who survives.

Blonda is also survived by three children: Stephanie Jan Ingram and husband Richard of Vero Beach, FL, Dawn Wine and husband Jeff of Weston and Jock Hinzman and fiancé Tonya Peters of Linn, five grandchildren: Jackie Maggart, Jenny Grandy, David Wine, Tara Wine Queen and Whitney Wine Butcher and eight great-grandchildren: Skylar, Seanna, Sophie, Emma, Phoebe, Liam, Ender and Lainey. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Mr. Hinzman was an employee of the West Virginia Department of Highways in District #7 of Weston. He was a graduate of Troy High School with the class of 1954. He was a member of the Troy Baptist Church, Blonda attended Auctioneering School in Indiana and did auctioneering for farms and many other things. He also farmed at his home in Linn, WV.

Family and friends will be received at the Hardman-Paletti Funeral Home 730 N. Main Avenue Weston on Saturday, November 30, 2019 from 4-8 p.m. Funeral services will be held on Sunday at 1:00 p.m. from Hardman-Paletti Funeral Home chapel with Pastor Bill Hunt officiating.
