Obituary for Audrey Jane Carpenter (Cool)
Audrey Jane (Cool) Carpenter, 88, formerly of Sykesville, MD, passed away on Friday, December 24, 2021 at Seller’s Personal Care Home in Jane Lew, WV. In August 2005, she moved to Weston, WV. Audrey was born on April 5, 1933, in Thurmont, MD, daughter of the late Bernard V. and Marie R. Cool. She married her husband of 71 years, Morris G. Carpenter of Duffy, WV on October 28, 1950, who survives.
Surviving in addition to her husband, are sons and daughter in laws Glen and Ilene Carpenter of PA and Warren Lee and Barb Bowers Carpenter of WV.
For 36 years, Audrey worked as a secretary and bookkeeper for C. A. Kibler Construction Co.; Eldersburg Welding; Eldersburg Café; and All Seasons Heating & Air Conditioning, in Eldersburg, MD.
A viewing will be held on Tuesday, December 28, 2021 from 10AM-11AM at Hardman Family Funeral Home 730 N. Main Avenue Weston, WV. Interment will follow viewing at Mitchell Cemetery, in Roanoke, WV at Stonewall Jackson Resort.
