Archie Eugene Lattea, Jr., 72, of Weston, passed away on Monday, December 20th, 2021 at Stonewall Jackson Memorial Hospital of Weston, WV. He was born on December 19th, 1949 son of the late: Archie Eugene Lattea, Sr. and Nellie Gertrude (Hamrick) Lattea. Archie was united in marriage on September 23rd, 1972 to the late Rebecca Ruth (Tanner) Lattea, who preceded him in death on March 18th, 2017.

Cherishing Archie’s life is 1 daughter: Melissa Lattea and fiancé Gary Harrison, Jr. of Weston, 1 son: Michael Lattea and wife Misty of Ireland, 6 grandchildren: Brandon McCue, Isaih Stemple, Bianca Stemple, Ryan Posey, Bryce Posey, and Brooklynn Lattea, 1 great grandchild: Easton Posey, 4 sisters: Ellen Titus and husband Paul of Weston, Nyna Chapman of Weston, Charlene Lattea of Weston, and Sharon Lattea of Weston, 2 brothers: Gary Lattea and wife Pam of Weston and Les Lattea of Weston and several nieces and nephews.

Archie retired from Haliburton with 23 years of service. He was a farmer by heart. Archie’s dog companion “Harley” was his best buddy.

Family and friends will gather at Hardman Family Funeral Home 730 N. Main Avenue, Weston on Monday, December 27th, 2021 from 11AM-1PM. The funeral service will begin at 1PM from the funeral home chapel with Pastor Jeff Ramsey officiating. Interment will follow services at Peterson Cemetery in Weston.
