Obituary for Alvy Gary Conrad

Alvy Gary Conrad, 57, of Roanoke passed away on Wednesday, February 27, 2019 at his residence. He was born in Lewis County on June 25, 1961: son of the late Virgil H. Conrad and Ellen Ruth (Pumphrey) Conrad.
Gary is survived by four brothers: Wayne, Charles and Jacky Conrad all of Roanoke and Earl Conrad of Jane Lew, two sisters: Edna (Melvin) Cutright of Weston and Milissia Conrad of Roanoke and several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, He was preceded in death by one brother: Donnie Conrad.
Mr. Conrad was employed by the Millstone Lumber Company of Crawford, WV. He enjoyed coon hunting, fishing and watching Western movies. He could fix just about anything around the house and worked on lawn mowers as well. Gary had coon dogs and a beagle that were special to him.
Family and friends will be received at the Hardman-Paletti Funeral Home 730 N. Main Avenue Weston on Monday, March 4, 2019 from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. Funeral services will be held on Monday at 1:00 p.m. from the Hardman-Paletti Funeral Home chapel with Pastor Mike Riffle officiating.
