So sorry to learn of Frank's death. I remember when we called him "little" Francis. We became friends through the St Mary's Cemetery Association. My husband, Walt, exchanged jokes and political emails with him. We were both very fond of Frank. He was a good guy.

There is no one whom Mike and I respected more than Frank Lydon. He was a man of great intellect and wisdom. It was such a pleasure to be in his presence. His wisdom and concern for others was unparalled. Oh, we shall miss Frank. His fairh and intelligence lead him. No doubt he is now in heaven in peace, looking down on us with that gentle knowing smile.

Frank was the most loyal, friendly, compassionate, dedicated and understanding man and most of all we were very fortunate to be able to call him our friend. He will be missed by all of us and others. When we see him again we’ll once more thank him for ALL he did for us and ask his forgiveness for all the headaches we put him through.

There was no better man than Frank Lydon.

"Francis," as I liked to call him when he answered the telephone, was one of the kindest and most generous people one could ever meet. From the very first time we met, we became close friends. No matter what was needed and who needed it, Frank was always there to help. Even in the just the past few weeks before his passing, when I would call to check on him, he never let on that he had become so gravely ill, always being more concerned with how my family was doing.

A man of great faith, I have no doubt that I will see him again. Francis will be greatly missed by me and my family.
