Obituary for Mabel Lucille Wine

Mabel Lucille Wine, 89, of Old Mill Road Jane Lew passed away on Sunday, October 21, 2018 in Crestview Nursing Home of Jane Lew following an extended illness. She was born in Burnsville on October 25, 1928: daughter of the late Pearl Wine and Rose (Vankirk) Wine.
Miss Wine is survived by one brother: Dixie Wine and wife Wilma of Jane Lew and one niece: Connie Hluzeti of Creston, OH. In addition to her parents, Mabel was preceded in death by two brothers: Lawrence and Dewey Wine and one sister-in-law: Wilma Wine.
Miss Wine retired as a custodian with the Jackson’s Mill 4-H Camp with 19 years of service. Earlier in her working career, Mabel worked a few years at the Stonewall Jackson Memorial Hospital as a cook and G.C. Murphy Company as a stock clerk. She was a member of Broad Street United Methodist Church of Weston and a graduate of Burnsville High School. She was know through out the family as a family nurse and took care of many family members throughout the years.
Family and friends will be received at Hardman-Paletti Funeral Home 730 N. Main Avenue Weston on Thursday, October 25, 2018 from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. Funeral services will be held on Thursday at 1 p.m. from the Hardman-Paletti Funeral Home chapel with Reverend Brian Plum officiating.
