Christine Marsh, 81, of Jackson Mill Community, Weston went home on Sunday, September 30, 2018 at her home. She was born in Grantsville on February 15, 1937: daughter of the late Arles Cross and Cora (Butcher) Cross. Christine was also preceded in death by husband, Robert David Marsh, who she married January 8, 1955 and passed away on January 9, 2007, son Timothy David Marsh, brothers: Junior, Worthy, Delbert, Edmund, Robert and Jim Cross and three sisters: Laverne Cross, Kathleen Betts and Geraldine Pierce.
Christine is survived by three children: Robin Jo Marsh of Richmond, KY, Kelley Christine Skinner of Weston and Josh Marsh of Jackson Mill Community (Weston). She is also survived by 9 grandchildren: Timothy, Adicus, Gregory, Justin, Jane, Jennifer, Gracie, Zoe and Garrett, 6 great grandchildren: Isaiah, Marshall, Daisey, Elle, Anamoly and Theo and several nieces and nephews.
Mrs. Marsh was a bookkeeper with the Weston National Bank, now known as United National Bank. She was a 1955 graduate of Weston High School and a member of St Patrick Catholic Church of Weston. Christine loved to read, was a craftswomen and artisan where she made many arts and crafts and also loved collecting antiques. Family was important to Christine and was loved by all.
Family and friends will be received at Hardman-Paletti Funeral Home 730 N. Main Avenue Weston on Tuesday, October 2, 2018 from 4-6 p.m. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Wednesday at 10:00 a.m. from St Patrick Catholic Church of Weston with Rev. James R. DeViese, Jr. as celebrant. A Rosary will be recited on Tuesday evening at 6 p.m. from the funeral home chapel. Interment will follow the funeral mass in Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens of Jane Lew, WV.
