Obituary for Beverlee Rae Linger (Chapman)

Beverlee Rae Linger, 69, of Fairmont (formerly of Weston) passed away on Wednesday, December 19, 2018 in Woodlands Assisted Living of Worthington, WV following an extended illness. She was born in Weston on February 24, 1949: daughter of the late William D. Chapman and Violet (Nicholas) Chapman.
Ms. Linger is survived by one son: James William Linger, III and wife Missy of Fairmont, one brother: Bill Chapman of Rehoboth, Delaware and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, Beverlee was preceded in death by two brothers: Denny and David Chapman.
Ms. Linger was a teacher. She was a graduate of Lewis County High School class of 1967, was a graduate of Clarksburg Beauty School and was a graduate of West Virginia Wesleyan of Buckhannon with a Bachelor of Science degree in Art Education. Beverlee was member of the Stone Coal United Methodist Church. Her hobbies included photography, painting, drawing and playing guitar.
Ms. Linger’s wishes were to have a private family gathering and private graveside services in the Weston Masonic Cemetery. Hardman-Paletti Funeral Home is honored to carry out her wishes.
